It’s hard to believe 2025 is already coming to an end — this year felt like it was on fast-forward!

We started this issue back in mid-September, just as the first pumpkins and fall wreaths were appearing. My kitchen smelled incredible while we made the recipes within these pages, and one Sunday afternoon, I sat down to make many of the ornaments you’ll see in our Homemade Holiday Cheer article. This summer, my family took a wonderful vacation to Curaçao, and it was so much fun to create an ornament that will remind us of that trip for years to come. I can barely sew on a button, but I decided to give the felt ornaments a try anyway. I kept reminding myself to trust the process — they’re not perfect, but I love how they turned out!

If you haven’t yet tuned in, we’d love for you to join us on The HOME Show — airing Thursdays at noon, Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Sundays at noon on WLNI 105.9 FM — or anytime on your favorite podcast platform. It’s where we take the pages of HOME beyond print and bring them to life through stories, laughter and behind-the-scenes conversations with local voices you’ll recognize from these very pages.

A heartfelt “thank you” to our advertising partners for your continued trust and support. Because of you, HOME remains a complimentary magazine — available throughout the region and delivered right to readers’ mailboxes —helping us stay connected to our community.

And finally, we’re always on the lookout for the next great story: whether it’s a beautiful home, a creative renovation or a space filled with character and charm! If you have an idea or know someone whose story deserves to be told, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us a note — our inspiration often comes from the homes and people that make our community shine.

Putting this issue together has been such a joy for our team. As we turn the page on another year, I hope you find time to slow down, savor the season and enjoy the simple moments that truly matter.

Warmly,

Trish Roth | trish@jamesrivermedia.com
